WORKGROUP: Re-Use & Conservation

As a central element of the Proposed Implementation Plan, the Reuse and Conservation Group will consider the timing, potential pollutant reduction, and cost of conservation and treated water reuse opportunities. It will evaluate, at an order of magnitude level of accuracy (-50%/+100%), a range of treatment options, from the cost of land application of municipal wastewater on agricultural lands through aquifer recharge and Class A water distribution along with water conservation/flow reduction opportunities to gain greater utilization of built capacity.

The group will make a specific recommendation to the Technical Group for the Proposed Implementation Plan.
